Easter “Sun” Day

6 Apr

Today is Easter Tuesday. In case you’re wondering, Easter lasts up to Christ’s Ascension (which will be celebrated on 16 May 2010 — 40 days after His Resurrection).

Anyhow, I don’t wanna sound too preachy so I’mma just blog about how I celebrated Easter. Last year, my boyfriend and I went to Ciudad Christia 9 Waves in San Mateo, Rizal. It was just 5 – 10 minutes away from his place.

This year, we decided to go to Club Manila East in Taytay, Rizal.

Beach Waves pool: CME's first wave pool

The last time we went there was about 2 – 3 years ago. CME has new pools and there are fast food restaurants in the resort, too (Chowking, Jollibee, and Shakey’s). There is also a Nestlé Ice Cream stand! 🙂

ready to dive?

Ocean Waves pool: bigger than the Beach Waves pool

Surfing lessons are about Php1,500 for 2 hours. We did not bother to try to surf beacuse it’s kinda pricey. I also don’t think they would conduct surfing lessons with a lot of people on the Ocean Waves pool! Hehehe… 😛

Here’s a copy of Club Manila East Taytay’s pool schedules:

waterproof CME tags (of course, we had dinner at Banapple Too)

Going to Club Manila East sure was a great way of celebrating Easter Sunday — it’s just near, it’s affordable, and it has a lot of facilities (you’ll never get bored there). 🙂
